About our team:
Henry River Recon was formed in 2007-2008 by our General, Tony Lowman, and his son as a way to spend time together. It has since grown into the team it is today, from just 5 members in its infancy to close to 20-30 members currently. We were officially recognized as an NCAO recognized team in August of 2010. Our team has been to and hosted many events since its inception, and will continue to do so. In 2013, our General was supreme allied commander (SACEUR) of NATO forces for operation FULDA GAP in Taylorsville, which is the biggest airsoft game in the eastern US, and has been the biggest game in the nation on a few occasions.

Team Rules:
- You must procure your OWN weapon, gear, and uniform. We have some equipment and weapons in case your main goes down, but that is the ONLY reason we loan equipment.
- Safety is paramount! Be safe in all of your gameplay and wear the proper equipment (full seal eye pro, face protection, etc). No one is out to kill anyone in this sport! Also, injuries from heat, cold, fatigue and dehydration can and will happen in this sport, so take the necessary precautions! Any member who is not playing safely, is creating an unsafe environment for gameplay, or following set rules of the game is subject to reprimand and/or removal from our ranks.
- The entire aim of our team is to have a presence at state level games, such as Fulda Gap. If you can make it. Be there.
- You MUST communicate with us! We all have lives outside of airsoft, but that doesn't mean that we cannot communicate! When you receive official notice of an event, you MUST provide your notice of intent (I can or can't make it). These events will be posted on our calendar page for your convenience. Any member that shows non-communication for three consecutive days shall be removed from our ranks, and this action is seen as a voluntary resignation from this team.
- You MUST pay your Dues! Team dues are $5 per person per year. This helps us to cover the cost of our website, upkeep of our weapons and equipment, and other needs of the team.
- You MUST follow orders on the field. Period. If you are ordered to go defend a position, you must not leave that position until your leader gives the go ahead (or unless there is an emergency). This is a military style team with a chain of command, and lone wolves will NOT be tolerated. We play as a team.
